1. Cafe Turko

Turkish food, kebabs, rice

Cafe Turko is an authentic Turkish restaurant, tea, and coffee house that offers a unique taste of Ottoman cuisine. The restaurant’s menu is a delightful blend of Central Asian, Caucasian, Middle Eastern, and Balkan cuisines. Cafe Turko is proud to serve only halal and Zabiha products, ensuring that their offerings are accessible to all. We have tasted food from the streets of Istanbul, trust us on this one.

Having tasted foods from the streets of Istanbul, Cafe Turko brings that authentic flavor right to Seattle. The restaurant is often busy, so be sure to call in advance to ask about wait times. Open for dining from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, Cafe Turko is a must-visit destination for a taste of Turkey.

2. Kabab House

Food from Kabab house, has seekh kabab, biryani, haleem, etc.

Located in Kirkland, Kabab House is the first authentic Pakistani restaurant in the greater Seattle area. Since 1996, it has been serving a variety of flavorful dishes that capture the essence of Pakistani and Indian cuisine.

The top repeat items for us are the beef nihari and the beef seekh kababs. The restaurant is family-run, so get ready to experience that warm family love. It’s safe to say that Kabab House offers the best Nihari in the Greater Seattle Area. The restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday, with varying hours, and is closed on Tuesdays.

If you are in Bellevue/Kirkland area, you will be eating a lot here if you like Pakistani food.

3. Afghan Choopan

Afghan food, Kabuli Palao

Afghan Choopan offers a custom dining experience that brings the flavors of Afghanistan to Seattle. This underrated place provides fast service and probably the most authentic Afghan food you will find in the city.

The restaurant is HUGE! You can host your large family events there! We had the family special combo, so tried majority of the good stuff. Especially if you are traveling from Toronto and missing the iconic restaurants like Bomyan and Kandahar, this is the place to go.
